XXX Domains Are In?

Kind of late for me to know but yes, I just found out that the XXX domains are already in. I was searching last night for a new domain name after not really feeling good about the project I am currently working on. I can't find a really good one when I noticed these domains with XXX extension. And wow, they're quite expensive for $78.88 annual registration. That was what I thought. When I did a search at other domain registrars, I found out that their domain registration for XXX domains are even more expensive. There are really good domain names that are unregistered and for sure will be profitable for website flipping. Will the XXX signify only adult-related website content? Or, will it be used also by non-adult ones? Some big industry names approve of its used at top-level domain while some fear that it will become a mandatory TLD for all sexually-explicit related websites. While there are protests to stop the .XXX top-level domain, it's a "watch and see what happen...
