As an existing user of Dreamhost, I decided to transfer all of my Registerfly domains over to Dreamhost.

I paid $9.95 each, and while I was expecting this to cover just the transfer fee, I was pleasantly surprised to see that each domain's expiry date was pushed back by a year as well.

Dreamhost provides an equivalent to Registerfly's "ProtectFly" service, but DOESN'T charge you extra for it.

Their customer service is also excellent. I had a response within 15 minutes of submitting a ticket.

All in all I am very pleased with my experience with Dreamhost!

@alli, thanks for sharing your experience with DreamHost. I am a new customer from Registerfly so I got my tranfer for free and 1-year hosting free, too.
