VANYWHERE — Turn Time and Skills to Cryptocurrencies That Pays Bills

I hear some people saying they don’t have skills for any job so they tend to stick on what is there even if it is a low-paying job. Stuck on a job which they hate until they retire. I beg to disagree because even a housewife has a skill that she may offer or share with other housewives. Is it really their choice? Or is it only just because opportunity did not present itself to them? Now, what if your skills can earn you a crypto even during traffic hours, even when you are just staying at home, a PWD, or any status you have now, would you be joining a program, a project or a platform? (Remember that cryptocurrencies now are really popular and unlike FIAT or paper money that are affected by inflation, values may increase overtime.) With Vanywhere, time can turn into cryptocurrency. Real people, real skills, real time! Vanywhere is a skill-sharing platform that connects people who are seeking and offering skills via live video, voice & chat Well, ...

Namecheap.com Domain Price Increase Notification

As a customer of Namecheap.com - domain registrar where some of my domains are registered - I received a notification today that starting October 14, 2007, there will be a slight increase in the domain prices.

Cited reason was that ICANN has allowed the price increase for some domain registries.

GoDaddy started its own price increase with the .info domain. Registration for the first year was originally $0.99 and is now currently at $2.99. That is a 200% price increase. Although the said price is already a sale price, it is still a price increase in the mind of regular domain buyers.

It is a wait and see period if other domain registrars will also increase their domain prices.

I included a portion of the newsletter below for reference on why the price increase will be implemented and what will the new domain prices will be.

In April 2007, the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN)
approved certain domain registries to increase their prices. Domain registries
are the private companies which manage the registration, technical operations,
and control the allocation policies of the TLD's for which they are responsible.

Domain registries VeriSign(.com, .net tld's), Afilias(.info tld), Neulevel (.biz tld)and Public Interest Registry(.org tld)applied for and received price increases and have announced they will be raising their wholesale prices to all registrars including us.

In light of that decision, NameCheap.com will be adjusting its pricing on Sunday, October 14, 2007 as follows:

.com domain renewals, transfers and new registrations: Old pricing $8.88, new pricing $9.29 per year

.net domain renewals, transfers and new registrations: Old pricing $8.88, new pricing $9.29 per year

.org domain renewals, transfers and new registrations: Old pricing $8.88, new pricing $9.29 per year

.info domain renewals, transfers and new registrations: Old pricing $8.88, new pricing $9.29 per year

.biz domain renewals, transfers and new registrations: Old pricing $8.88, new pricing $9.29 per year
