VANYWHERE — Turn Time and Skills to Cryptocurrencies That Pays Bills

Image
I hear some people saying they don’t have skills for any job so they tend to stick on what is there even if it is a low-paying job. Stuck on a job which they hate until they retire. I beg to disagree because even a housewife has a skill that she may offer or share with other housewives. Is it really their choice? Or is it only just because opportunity did not present itself to them? Now, what if your skills can earn you a crypto even during traffic hours, even when you are just staying at home, a PWD, or any status you have now, would you be joining a program, a project or a platform? (Remember that cryptocurrencies now are really popular and unlike FIAT or paper money that are affected by inflation, values may increase overtime.) With Vanywhere, time can turn into cryptocurrency. Real people, real skills, real time! Vanywhere is a skill-sharing platform that connects people who are seeking and offering skills via live video, voice & chat Well, ...

Better Late Than Never

I was site hopping again today (yesterday actually, because my browser stopped working while I was writing this post so I went to sleep) waiting for my downloads to finish when I searched on who might have mistakenly or generously gave some linky love on my one of my sites. To my surprise, I found a linky love at TheNextPost Although he made the post on April 2007, I believe it is never too late to express gratitude for such a generous act. If you visit his blog, you can start reading from the latest post and go on reading until the last post. You might even want to read the next page's posts since all posts are quite interesting. One of the entries you should check is his post on " 10 Great Articles of 2007 & Why You Should Read Them ". You might agree or disagree with the contents of those blog posts that made it to the list but for sure, visiting them will be a lot of readings to do for a day

Successful Withdrawal of Paypal to GSIS Ecard

Since Paypal was finally approved to be fully accessible to Philippine users, many Philippine Paypal users have successfully withdrawn their Paypal funds to their bank accounts. Now, it is my turn to say I finally got my Paypal funds. I can say that Unionbank's service has greatly improved lately. Based on previous feedbacks from other Paypal users, it took them about 2 to 3 weeks to finally receive their funds. Most of them used Unionbank's EON Visa Electron Card. I was waiting for feedback from other GSIS ecard users before making a withdrawal but since I can no longer wait (looks like only very few on my sector are still aware of Paypal's existence), I went ahead and made my withdrawal. My transaction was only about 3 (or 4 ) days which will depend on how you count the days. I made my Paypal withdrawal last November 17, 2007 and funds were on my GSIS ecard last November 20, 2007. So if you have an unverified Paypal Philippines account and you have a GSIS ecard, you can ...

Dreamhost Discount Coupon Codes

It took me such a long time to figure out how to set-up the maximum discount of $97 from Dreamhost. I also found out that there are also other Dreamhosters who experienced the same. Maybe, my question was not clear enough or maybe the options were not obvious enough for me to figure out easily. To help others who might be using Dreamhost in the future, I will be giving the obvious answer here. To set-up your Dreamhost $97 discount coupon code 1. Visit https://panel.dreamhost.com/index.cgi?tree=home.rew& 2. Click on the last link on the page "Create Your Own Promo Codes!" 3. Click on the link "Create a New Dreamhost Promo Code" 4. Fill-up the space for Promo Code and Description. Leave the bonuses as is, or no bonuses Here comes the not so obvious part 5. On the table "This promo code's discounts:", the last column is labeled "This Code's Discount". If you notice, the values are set to $0.00. You change those $0.00 into the amount of...

Battle between PayPerPost and Google Pagerank

Well, this post is only to affirm what others may have already found out. I am quite a bit late again, as usual, as I was busy organizing my files for a new project I have in mind. I was about to rest for the day when I received the ezine from Easy Wordpress with the heading " Will PPP Bloggers Receive the Next Google Slap? ". What is this all about?!? Being a Payperpost blogger, it naturally caught my attention. Another PR update? Didn't Google updated the PR first week of November? I just checked my PR before the weekend and it was still in PR2. After reading the whole article and the comments at Easy Wordpress, I went to check my PR and it is now a PR0. Luckily, I have not used my other blogs for any paid blogging jobs (As if I have enough time to maintain other blogs... lol) There are questions out there, PPP, paid blogging or Google PR? For sure, votes are divided again. PR and rate for paid blogs are directly proportional somehow. No PR, lower payout for paid blogs...

Twitter and Surfing Day

I have not visited my Twitter for about 3 months now so I decided to drop by while waiting for my downloads to finish. I noticed that I was not the only one who was in hiatus at Twitter. Maybe, they got tired of twittering :d or just too busy with their own lives like I was. I have also update MyBlogLog to include my Twitter link. I still have not update my avatar at MyBlogLog to reflect what I am currently using. The avatar was changed due to the integration of the account with that of my YM account. There's just too much updates going on with every program: new widgets, new codes, new merger, new options, etc. Some are placed on my SPAM emails which I seldom check. Talking about SPAM emails, I deleted about 1,500 SPAM emails. That's why I was able to read some important emails that got sorted wrongly. I'll be checking for more updates I might have missed.

Whirpool Dryers

Before, shopping for an appliance like a dryer can only be done by personally visiting a supermarket or appliance store. When we decided to buy our dryer, we visited several stores before we were able to finally select the unit we want at the price we can afford. With today's lifetstyle, people want the fastest possible access to information before buying. Time can not be wasted visiting stores and checking each brand one by one. Most buyers today will only visit a store when they have decided on what to buy. But before a decision is made, they browse the internet. When using the search engines, they may not even bother to look at the second page of the search results. When a link is finally clicked, frustration steps in because the information is insufficient. It is even more frustrating when the product being mentioned is not available locally. Search results for dryers such as Whirlpool Dryers may be insufficient. You do not need to go through the same experience we had. Krillo...

Useless Newsletter Subscription

They say you get what you paid for but I did not expect same thing to happen when I subscribed to a domain-related newsletter. All the newsletters I've been receiving daily is a plugging of his domain-related ebook. Take note, that is daily. That would be fine if I received said newsletter once a week but he does it daily and the newsletter does not even contain any useful information aside from pointing out to buy his ebook. Dah, I know that there is an unsubscribe button but I would still give him some more time to send useful info without the blatant advertising before finally clicking on that unsubscribe link. I really wonder how the other subscribers felt.

Successful Upgrade to WordPress 2.3.1

A couple of Wordpress blogs I maintain are hosted at Dreamhost . With the recent WordPress code update to fix some bugs, manually updating a blog can be tedious especially if a number of blogs are being maintained by a single person. Although there are available automatic updater used by other WordPress bloggers, said updater still requires installation of some files for each blog. Offline or online, I always prefer to do things efficiently saving me time and effort (except reading :d) so if I can do it with a single click upgrade, why opt for the harder way? :d This what makes hosting with Dreamhost a good experience (although other hostings are good as well :d) Dreamhost always update the scripts included in its 1-click install. The first time I used the 1-click install to upgrade was for Joomla. It was as easy as 1-2-3. With WordPress, there were glitches with some but majority of the sites were successfully upgraded. But Customer Support was fast enough to work on the glitch and ...

Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala Talks on Aid

Since I woke up, I have been infront of my monitor looking for the solution on my .htaccess problem. Searching for a solution entails browsing and reading that I am always sidetracked by interesting bits of information like this very interesting video presentation of Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala , the former Finance Minister of Nigeria during the 4-day TEDGlobal 2007 event. I often received solicitation or most web users call them spam emails saying they are from Nigeria or the African continent and that they need to transfer some funds to an overseas account. When Africa is mentioned, the first picture that comes to our minds are the dry land caused by heavy drought, deaths caused by hunger and malnourished children. I don't usually watch online videos especially random ones but this one is quite interesting. First the presenter is a Nigerian and second, she presents a different vision of what we usually picture out as Nigerian or Africans. The presentation is quite an inspiration. There ...

Manual Installation Problem of Ioncube Loaders at Dreamhost

That was a long night and I am so much ready to go to bed but I might forget posting some of the details regarding the manual installation of Ioncube Loaders at Dreamhost. So, I will finish first this post before taking a break. One of the programs I want to test for a personal project I have in mind requires ioncube. Unfortunately, my current host - Dreamhost, does not a preinstalled ioncube nor offers support. If users want to use ioncube, then manually install it. As I can easily follow instructions (I thought so), I went through the instructions before step-by-step. Unfortunately, again, following the steps was unsuccessful. Ioncube loader on my Dreamhost account is not functional. Not giving up easily, it's time to ask for help. Maaku was considerate enough to walk me through the instructions again, even introducing "putty" to me. That was a lengthy tutorial procedure. Surprise!!!!.... ioncube is NOT working ....arrggg.... Checked directory and files CHMOD settings, ...

Hostmonster

Image
Lately, I have registered some domains. With my current hosting account nearing its expiration date, I am now again on the look-out for a hosting that will fit my budget and requirements like hosts unlimited domains, easy-to-use web panel, enough bandwidth and generous space. What's the best place to solicit information except the current customers themselves and some review sites. While browsing for information, I read a hostmonster review stating that unlimited domains domains can be hosted in one Hostmonster account. A 300GB disk space, 300GB bandwidth and one free lifetime domain comes with its hosting plan . What makes it enticing is the monthly hosting price of only of $4.95. Seldom will a webhost program offer hosting of unlimited domains for such a low price. Hostmonster will surely be in my list by the time I need a new hosting.

Will You Sell Your Money Making Blog?

I was bloghopping today and returning favors to MyBloglog visitors when I clicked on a link that led me to 45n5 post, The Current Value Of The Make Money Online Blogs . The post was about the value of some of the recently sold make money online blogs and possible valuation of 45n5's top 100 blogs when sold based on subscribers. Taking for instance Problogger with a subscriber of 34,846 is valued at $1,079,529.08. How the valuation was made is quite interesting but the comments were far more interesting for me. Conflicting views whether to sell a make money online blog or not were given. Some would not even sell their blogs at a price above $20,000.00. I'd say that's a lot of money already. Unfortunately, I do not have that much subscriber to make it to the $20,000 mark. But given an offer of above $20,000 or even at exactly $20,000, I'd sell my make money online blog . After all, that is what the blog is all about and selling it will be making money, too. With such amo...

Namecheap Discount Coupon Code for November

If you are familiar with domains and registrars, then by now, you already know Namecheap. Some of my domains are registered there and I can say that registration process for domain names are quite easy as always. Even if it is your first time, you can do it in under 5 minutes (depends on how many domains are you are registering). What makes it more enticing to register or transfer there is its free WhoisGuard subscription. If you plan to register a new domain name this November at Namecheap.com , you can use the coupon code GOBBLEGOBBLE Since domain registration is at $9.29, using this coupon will give you a domain registration price of $8.41. Increased Pagerank with Google's Recent PR Update

This is a hot topic few days ago but since I have not been actively working on my sites before the update, I did not expect any improvements on any of my sites' pageranks. I did not even bother to check until a few minutes ago. If other website owners are asking questions why their PRs have been downgraded, I am just too happy to say that Journey to Earning Money Online , previously a PR1 blog, is now a PR2 blog. My other blog, LoadXtreme Mobile and Prepaid Loading Station has also been upgraded to PR2 from PR0. Surprise!!! I still do not understand the theory on how Google ranks websites but who does anyway? There are lots of speculations on why some high ranking websites got downgraded but nobody has proven yet. Besides, Google continously changes its algorithm so there are always surprises under the hat. So, how about you? Got upgraded or downgraded?

Earning from Selling Stock Photo Packages

In the past, I have only thought of getting paid for uploading photos on stock photography sites. This is, by far, the easiest way to earn an income from stock photos - no websites to maintain and support is taken care by the stock photography site. But what if you want to dictate the price of your own stock photos, what is the best way to market your products? Start your own stock photography site [Looks like a lot of work:) ] Or, package your own stock photos according to theme or categories and start auctioning or selling them at eBay, forums or classified ads boards. A package may contain about 25 quality images or hundreds maybe and priced accordingly. Feature several packages of different subjects so clients will have enough choices. It may not earn you a million dollar but it might earn you extra shopping money in time for the holiday season :)

A Peek on Domain Business

I have some blog posts in the past rattling about how some domains were sold for thousand dollars while other expensive domains like sex.com got sold for $12 million. Although I own a number of domains, the value is not that much yet. This venture requires some capital or cash-out - domain cost, development, hosting if needed and listing fees. Unfortunately, I do not have that much extra money to make this venture a bigger one so it is just one of those opportunities I have been working on slowly. A few weeks ago, some people I met online decided to make a pool and give domain business a try. With a pool, several people join together meager resources to be able to start a simple yet said-to-be lucrative business. Policies are still being polished and we expect to start soon. With this new venture, expect some future posts to talk about domains and the business itself. I'll be sharing info as I find them on the web. Hopefully, the information will help in the success of the said ...
